05 Sales Presentation: a. DecoGarden™ Catalog
Planters in the DecoGarden™ Catalog are primarily for the dish garden industry.
Have greenhouse growers and dish garden nurseries try our porcelain planters AAA has set the standard in this industry.
Our porcelain planters are made of the highest quality porcelain and offer many advantages - this is evident by its feel and look:
- The planters are heavy and sturdy ~~ does not encourage breakage
- The planters are made of the finest quality material ~~ the white areas of the planter are a clear and clean white, and homogeneous with no outward blemishes
- The planters are elegant ~~ the planters' walls are not overly thick as in cheap reproductions
- The planters have new designs ~~ our designs change yearly to combat consumer boredom
- The planters have innovative designs ~~ our designs are created by artists in touch with the American Horticultural Industry, their likes and trends
- The planters are tested in the market ~~ sample planters go through a testing period of planting and exhibiting, then surveyed by a set of very finicky growers and retailers
- The planters are often nested and in larger case packs ~~ since shipping costs are a major concern, by nesting our planters (e.g., 6 fits in 8 and 8 fits in 10) we can efficiently send our customers more pot per cubic feet of shipping space
- The planters have no holes on the bottom ~~ just thought I'd mention it in case you were wondering, dish gardens require a waterproof container
Our best selling planters are the Porcelain Garden planters (First Generation):
- Petal Flower Pots
- =Elegant, curvaceous pedestal planter shaped like an virgin flower bud, with a popular blue & green water lily theme
- This copyright design is a big favorite of our dish garden growers because it sells all year around due to its unique and elegant look.
- e.g., AAA 00498 (12), AAA 00502 (8), AAA 503 (10)
- Hex Pots and Curved-Edge Pots
- =Interesting hexagonal shape, with short pedestal, and a popular blue & green iris theme
- This beautiful planter has a higher side-profile than the traditional dish garden and promotes a taller dish garden outline
- e.g., AAA 00173 (8, 10 & 12 hex), AAA 00516 (8 curved)
- Low Fish Bowls, Flower-Edge, Octagon, Ribbed-Passion, Twirling Pots
- =Traditional low profile design that accommodates a centerpiece appearance, with a variety of colorful floral patterns
- These planters are very popular due to its traditional profile, often copied by our competitors, used by all dish gardeners in their basic offerings
- e.g., AAA 00150 (6, 8 & 10 low fish), AAA 00259 (6-14 flower-edge), AAA 00230 (8, 10 & 12' octagon), AAA 00272 (6-12 ribbed-passion), AAA 00206 (8-14 green twirling)
Our newest and very innovative porcelain type are the Inlaid Porcelain planters (Second Generation):
- These porcelain planters are very different from the Porcelain Garden planters based on their manufacturing:
- The pattern on the side of the planter is etched into the porcelain ~~ this provides a raised design very interesting, distinctive and beautiful!
- The shapes of all Inlaid Porcelain planters are different from the Porcelain Garden planters ~~ this affords the customer not only a new design concept but new planter shape to create a whole new market niche!!!
- Scallop Pots
- =The gentle octagon opening is the origin of the curved side profile, giving the planter the look and feel of a scallop shell
- This planter has a short foot and lends itself to a centerpiece dish garden look
- e.g., AAA 00841 (8 scallop)
- Blueberry and Strawberry Pots
- =Square planter with a wavy edge and patterned trim, and associated blueberries and strawberries
- This planter is very popular due to their square opening and fruit motif, fulfilling a market niche that was vacant up until the introduction of these pots
- e.g., AAA 00812 (6, 8 & 10 strawberry), AAA 00813 (8, 10 & 12 blueberry)
- Blue Daisy Pots
- =Rectangle planter with a wavy edge and gently footed, and a stylish blue flower pattern totally encircling the pot
- This planter is popular but specific in its use due to its asymmetrical shape
- e.g., AAA 00804 (8 & 10 blue daisy)
- Violet, Ivy Geranium and Octagon Planters ~~ other inlaid porcelain planters
Our Third Generation porcelain planter is the Outlined Porcelain
- = These porcelain planters are very different from the Porcelain Garden and Inlaid Porcelain planters based on their manufacturing:
- The pattern on the side of the planter is molded onto the porcelain ~~ this provides a raised, stain glass appearance also very interesting, distinctive and beautiful!
- Again, the shapes of all Outlined Porcelain planters are different from the Porcelain Garden planters but similar to the Inlaid Porcelain (this affords the customer not only a new design concept but new planter shape to create a whole new market niche!!!)
Dolomite Garden Collection
- =Pottery made of very light and charming dolomite material, in all the shapes and sizes of our Porcelain Gardens, but the images and patterns are molded into the sides to give the themes three dimensional contours
- These planters are brightly colored with outrageous apple, grape and strawberry figures, popular sunflower, iris and amaryllis themes, and butterfly and flower garden motifs
- e.g., AAA 03503 (8 strawberry), AAA 03511 (8 amaryllis), AAA 03501 (8 butterfly garden)

Lucky Bamboo Collection
- =Imaginative little pots made of porcelain, ceramic and stoneware, used to assemble lucky bamboo plant gardens
- The porcelain lucky bamboo pots are designed with traditional oriental imagery, such as bamboo, chrysanthemum, panda and Chinese calligraphy motifs
- The stoneware lucky bamboo pots have graceful bamboo and cherry blossom illustration
- The ceramic lucky bamboo pots are wild, imaginatively created with frogs, pandas, squirrels, turtles and dragons ~~ here the pot sells the lucky bamboo!
- The bouquet drop-ins are plain pastel colors, just right for the conservative customer
Bonsai Gardens Collection
- =Traditional and stylish pottery for the bonsai growers, exemplified by their exquisite shapes and color
- These pots must be conservatively done due to the traditional mystique surrounding bonsai
- Thus, all bonsai pots are footed, with holes (for growing the plant), and either glazed with traditional greens, blues and blacks or with a pattern of pine branches or cherry blossom
